Kurt von Rozynski (1864-1940) was a German genre painter and illustrator. Rozynski studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Königsberg. He lived in Berlin from at least 1895 to 1937 . Rozynski painted genre pictures and depictions of musicians and illustrated works by Christian Wagner and Karl Walleiser, among others. He also worked as an illustrator for the Daughters album and for Herzblätchen’s pastime. His depictions of musicians such as Richard Wagner or Ludwig van Beethoven were also distributed in print. A painting by Rozynski for the Moonlight Sonata is in Bonn in the Beethoven House. (Wikipedia)
