Notes: Rudolf Eichstaedt was a German genre, portrait and history painter. He became famous for his painting Victoria! – The return of the Quadriga in 1814. It depicts the acclaimed entry of the Quadriga, stolen by Napoleon and brought back by the Prussian troops under Blücher after the victory of 1814, at the gates of Berlin.
