Walter Flechsig Verlag was founded in Dresden in 1931. There is an entry in the commercial register from the Dresden address book of 1934. Initially, the publishing house had its headquarters at Pirnaische Straße 69. Walter Flechsig is listed there as the owner. In 1937 the publishing house moved to Hermann-Conradi-Straße 14. In addition to children’s books, postcards were also published by Walter Flechsig Verlag. Reprints of some titles were published by Weltbild Verlag in 2007/2008. (vintagebooks.de)
