Notes: Loch Lochy is a large freshwater loch in Lochaber, Highland, Scotland. With a mean depth of 70 m, it is the third-deepest loch of Scotland.

The Caledonian Canal connects the Scottish east coast at Inverness with the west coast at Corpach near Fort William in Scotland. The canal was constructed in the early nineteenth century by Scottish engineer Thomas Telford.

Rhododendron (from Ancient Greek rhódon “rose” and déndron “tree”) is a very large genus of 1,024 species of woody plants in the heath family (Ericaceae), either evergreen or deciduous, and found mainly in Asia, although it is also widespread throughout lowland and montane forests in the Pacific Northwest, California, the Northeastern United States, and especially in the highlands of the Appalachian Mountains of North America.
